This privacy policy governs the manner in which Fider collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of its hosted service fider.io (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Service and not Fider as an open source project.

Personal identification information

We may collect and use personal identification information that Users provide to us, including, but not limited to, when you register on the site, submit an idea, leave a comment, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name and email address. You may refuse to supply this information; however, refusal may prevent you from engaging in certain Site-related activities.

We may also automatically collect certain information when Users visit our site. This information may include IP addresses.

Non-personal identification information

The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate that information about your website visit should not be sent to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not prevent information from being sent to our website or to other web analytics services.

How we respond to “Do Not Track” signals

We do not track our Users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore we do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Some third party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when you access them in order to tailor what they present to you. Fider may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:
